Hi folks these days you might notice that people are doing a lot of walks or runs for Charity.Only this weekend gone, I was sitting in my garden minding my own business.A mature lady dressed up in pink came in and asked me to donate some money for" Breast cancer awareness".So I have to donate a few pounds to them.Because they are going to do a walk to raise funds for breast cancer awareness.There are other fund raising activities for women such as cervical cancer, obesity and so on.It have crossed my mind why don't men start to raised funds for things like what men suffers the most.Like "Erectile Dysfuntion","Premature Ejeculation" "Prostate Enlargement".

Dear readers I have been retired for three years from being a G.P due to illness and I think that's the best thing that I have ever done in my life.Since retirement I have never been near my old sugery.But a few weeks ago I went to Normanton on some business and passed my old surgery where I used to practice.My surgery was renamed "Park View Surgery".It used to be called " Castleford road surgery" when I was there.I have been hearing some complaints from some of the patients there saying"Its not the same anymore since you have left, the doctors now are very mercenary and not very approachable like you.They just don't want to listen to you just give you a script and wants you to go away."

I have also heard that a lot of people had left the practice and changing to neighbouring practices.The practice population have fallen significantly.
It had come to my attention that thee is a sing post on the surgery saying"We are accepting new patients."But underneath that sign post there is a graffitie saying"Fuck you dickheads"It make me laugh because I know that is exactly the patients in Normanton will express themselves.They don't beat about the bush they shoot straight from the hip.Thank God I have never been called "Dickhead" by any of my patients.

Criteria to miss a hospital appiontment.

Dear readers,let me tell you about one of my patients who was rushed into hospital vomiting blood.He was a 70 year old man and his name is Mr White.The unfortunate man also suffers from coronary heart disease and was due to go to cardiology outpatients for yearly check up.But instead he was addmitted to hospital that day with haematamesis and malena.
His wife Mrs White rang the hospital out patients and told them he had to miss the cardiology appiontment bacause he was rushed into hospital vomiting blood and could they make another appiontment for him.But people from cardiology outpatients said this is not a good enough excuse to miss the appiontment.You must go back to your own G.P and make another refferal.
When I heard about it I got really mad and wrote to cardiology consultant.

Dear Dr,I am writing regarding my patient Mr White and your recent coversation with Mrs White.Could you kindly tell me what is the sufficient criteria for missing an appointment?Because it seems to me that being rushed into hospital vomiting fucking blood ought to score pretty high.
After writing the letter I feel a bit worried that I had been too rude and losing my self control.So I show it to one of my colleges a G.P from another practice.He read it and said."I would take out the fucking otherwise its spot on."

Hi folks the latest studies on planet Mars by N.A.S.A.shows there is evidence of life on planet Mars.As far as my knowledge in Astronomy I can say Mars has four seasons like us Earth planet and two polar ice caps.Which give us a lot of hope that one day we could colonised Mars and move there if the Earth become too hot.For our sun is dying and getting bigger becoming a red giant. That will not be in our life time.It will take another one milloin years for that to happen.So our good scientists from N.A.S.A are trying their very best to explore the planet Mars to find ways and means to inhabit it.According to Mariner explorer the robot satellite on the surface of Mars Mars landscape looks like the desert landscape from Arizona.(U.S.A).
